Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using MediaConvert Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
MediaConvert Pro is an iOS application that allows users to convert media files between formats, including:
- Images to PDF (JPEG, PNG, HEIC → PDF)
- Image format conversion (JPEG ↔ PNG, HEIC → JPEG)
- Audio extraction from video (MP4/MOV → M4A)
- Video conversion (MOV → MP4)
All file processing occurs entirely on your device. No files or media are uploaded to any server.
3. Free Tier and Subscriptions
3.1 Free Tier
The App provides a limited number of free conversions (currently five). Once that limit is reached, a Pro subscription is required to continue converting files.
3.2 Pro Subscription Plans
MediaConvert Pro offers the following paid plans:
- Monthly Pro — billed monthly; renews automatically each month.
- Annual Pro — billed once per year; renews automatically each year.
- Lifetime Pro — a one-time purchase granting permanent Pro access.
3.3 Billing and Renewal
Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and are governed by Apple's standard subscription terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
3.4 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
3.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the next renewal date, and you will be notified in advance through the App Store.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to:
- Convert, distribute, or otherwise handle files that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
You are solely responsible for the content of any files you convert using the App.
5. Intellectual Property
MediaConvert Pro, including its name, logo, design, code, and associated assets, is the exclusive property of Mukuwa Baffoe. All rights are reserved.
The App is licensed to you on a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable basis solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, sublicense, sell, or redistribute any part of the App.
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any output produced by the App.
We do not guarantee that converted files will be identical in quality to the originals. You should keep backups of important files before conversion.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mukuwa Baffoe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the App immediately ceases. Sections 5, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mukuwa Baffoe resides, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
