What is MediaConvert Pro?
MediaConvert Pro is an iOS app that lets you convert media files directly on your iPhone or iPad — no desktop, no uploads, no waiting. It handles image format conversion, image-to-PDF, audio extraction from video, and video format conversion.
What conversions does the app support?
- Image to PDF — Combine JPEG, PNG, or HEIC photos into a single PDF
- Convert Images — JPEG ↔ PNG, HEIC → JPEG
- Extract Audio — Pull the audio track from an MP4 or MOV video as an M4A file
- Convert Video — MOV → MP4
Do I need an account to use MediaConvert Pro?
No. There's no account, no sign-up, and no email required. Download and start converting immediately.
Does the app work offline?
Yes, completely. All conversion happens on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. An internet connection is only needed to process a subscription purchase.

Is MediaConvert Pro free?
The app is free to download and includes 5 free conversions — no credit card required. After that, a Pro subscription is needed to keep converting.
What do I get with Pro?
Pro unlocks unlimited conversions, batch image-to-PDF merging, full history access, and all future features we ship.
What plans are available?

Can I try the app before buying Pro?
Yes — you get 5 free conversions with no strings attached. That's enough to see whether the app fits your workflow before committing.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find MediaConvert Pro, and tap Cancel. You'll keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period. We have no ability to process cancellations on our end — all billing is handled by Apple.
Do you offer refunds?
All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and Apple will handle it from there.
Privacy & Security
Do you upload my files anywhere?
Never. Every conversion runs locally on your device using Apple's Core Image, PDFKit, and AVFoundation frameworks. Your photos, videos, and documents never leave your phone.
What data do you collect?
None. We don't collect personal information, device identifiers, analytics, or usage data. There's nothing to sell and no servers receiving your files.
Why does the app ask for Photo Library access?
The app needs Photo Library access to let you pick photos or videos to convert. Access is only requested when you tap to add a file — there is no background access. You can revoke this permission any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
Is my conversion history stored in the cloud?
No. Your conversion history and all saved output files are stored locally on your device. Nothing is synced to iCloud or any external server.
Purchases & Devices
I bought Pro on my iPhone — do I need to pay again on my iPad?
No. Your Pro purchase is tied to your Apple ID. On any device signed into the same Apple ID, open the app and tap Restore Purchases in Settings to activate Pro at no extra charge.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open the app → tap the gear icon to open Settings → tap Restore Purchases. The app will check your Apple ID and restore Pro access automatically.
My purchase isn't showing as active — what should I do?
Try tapping Restore Purchases in the app's Settings screen. If that doesn't work, make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used when you purchased, and that your subscription hasn't expired. If the problem persists, contact us.
History & Files
Where are my converted files saved?
Converted files are saved inside the app's local storage. From the History screen, tap the share button on any record to save the file to Files, Photos, send it via AirDrop, or share it anywhere.
Can I access my history on another device?
History is stored locally per device and doesn't sync between devices. If you convert a file on your iPhone, you'll need to share it manually to access it on your iPad.
How do I delete my history?
Open the History screen, swipe left on any record to delete it individually, or tap Clear All in the top right to remove everything at once. Deleted records are permanently removed along with their saved files.
Troubleshooting
The app isn't converting my file — what should I try?
Make sure the file format is supported (see the list above). If the file is very large, give the app a moment to process. If the issue persists, try closing and reopening the app, then try again.
My HEIC photo won't convert — why?
HEIC conversion requires iOS 16 or later. Make sure your device is up to date in Settings → General → Software Update.
I hit the free conversion limit but don't want to subscribe — what are my options?
The Lifetime Pro plan is a one-time purchase with no recurring charges — it's often cheaper than two years of the Annual plan. If none of the plans work for you, feel free to reach out and we'll see what we can do.
