1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MediaConvert Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

MediaConvert Pro is an iOS application that allows users to convert media files between formats, including:

• Images to PDF (JPEG, PNG, HEIC → PDF)
• Image format conversion (JPEG ↔ PNG, HEIC → JPEG)
• Audio extraction from video (MP4/MOV → M4A)
• Video conversion (MOV → MP4)

All file processing occurs entirely on your device. No files or media are uploaded to any server.

3. Free Tier and Subscriptions

• 3.1 Free Tier — The App provides five free conversions. Once that limit is reached, a Pro subscription is required.
• 3.2 Pro Plans — Monthly Pro (renews monthly), Annual Pro (renews yearly), Lifetime Pro (one-time purchase).
• 3.3 Billing and Renewal — Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• 3.4 Refunds — All purchases are processed by Apple. Submit refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• 3.5 Price Changes — Prices may change at any time; changes take effect at the next renewal.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not use the App to infringe intellectual property rights, violate any law, or reverse-engineer the App. You are solely responsible for the content of files you convert.

5. Intellectual Property

MediaConvert Pro and all associated assets are the exclusive property of Mukuwa Baffoe. The App is licensed to you on a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable basis for personal, non-commercial use only.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that converted files will be identical in quality to originals. Keep backups of important files before conversion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mukuwa Baffoe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time without notice. Sections 5, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mukuwa Baffoe resides.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary

Apple Inc. is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you.

Privacy Policy

1. Overview

MediaConvert Pro is built with privacy as a first principle. All file conversion happens entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data or media files.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or have access to: your media files, your name or email, device identifiers, analytics or crash reports beyond what Apple provides to all developers, or location data.

3. On-Device Processing

Every conversion is executed locally on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks (Core Image, PDFKit, AVFoundation). Your media files never leave your device.

4. Photo Library Access

The App requests Photo Library access only when you explicitly tap to add a file. Access is never used in the background, and files are never transmitted anywhere. Revoke access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

5. Purchase and Subscription Data

All purchases are handled by Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We do not process, store, or have access to your payment information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Keychain Usage

The App stores your free conversion count (a single integer) in the iOS Keychain. This value is local to your device, is not synced to iCloud, and contains no personal information.

7. Conversion History

Your conversion history is stored locally in your app's sandbox. It never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time from the History screen.

8. No Third-Party SDKs or Advertising

The App contains no advertising networks, analytics SDKs, social media SDKs, or tracking libraries of any kind.

9. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because we collect no data at all, the App is safe for use by children.

10. Data Security

All processing is on-device. There is no server-side data to secure. You control the saving and sharing of all output files.

11. Your Rights

We collect no personal data, so there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. For data held by Apple, contact Apple directly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
